The Holyhead and Dun Laoghaire Link
|
The Holyhead and Dun Laoghaire Link brings together the peoples of both port towns, and adjoining areas. Its objective is to promote and facilitate co-operation between the people and communities of Dun Laoghaire and area, and Holyhead and district, in all aspects of life, including cultural, community development, educational, sporting, maritime, policing, environmental, business, and economic opportunities. The Link is strictly non-party political, non-sectarian, and voluntary.
The Link regularly meets alternatively in Holyhead and Dun Laoghaire. It acts as a catalyst in bringing together people and organisations. The Link encourages and co-operates with projects which jointly involve people and organisations from Wales and Ireland. Membership is open to individuals and organisations who accept the rules and objectives of the Link, and pay an annual subscription.
EU Interreg funding has been secured by the Link to support its activities.
