As part of the Holyhead Forward arrangements made in 2003, a number of groups have been established to oversee the delivery of the regeneration strategy. There have been many changes since 2003 and a review of these groups has been carried out to ensure that arrangements are time and cost effective and avoid duplication.

Holyhead Forward Strategy Group
The role of this group is to monitor overall progress between Board meetings, link the work of different groups and identify key issues that need to be addressed. This group is chaired by Cllr. John Chorlton. The Chamber of Commerce and Communities First Chairs group are represented on this.
Holyhead Transport and Environment Package (HTEP) Group
This group oversees the planning and delivery of the transport and urban realm improvement works, including the Celtic Gateway Scheme, Town Centre Regeneration Scheme, Rail Depot relocation and A55 Extension proposals. The group receives reports from the Holyhead Town Centre Regeneration Scheme Project Group, Railway Station Project meetings and others. This group is chaired by Cllr. John Chorlton
Holyhead Skills and Training Group
This group brings together bodies involved in skills and training activities in Holyhead. An audit has showed that a number of similar services are provided by many bodies and the meeting agreed the need for better co-ordination within Holyhead. This group is chaired by Ann Kennedy.
